The idea behind Sandalwood Express Restaurant was born in 2024 when three Malayali women from varied backgrounds came together for a casual get-together. The spark for this concept was ignited by a proposal from the Nehru group of institutions chairman, Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, envisioned a well-rounded, quality restaurant for the associates of the P K Das group of institutions in Vaniamkulam, along with catering to the traveling and resident communities in the surrounding areas. These three women, propelled by passion and a shared vision, became the pillars of Sandalwood Express Restaurant bringing the concept to life with their skill sets and determination.
It was not easy to bring the dream of Sandalwood Express to reality. From the planning stage of the project to the construction, there were a lot of obstacles that had to be overcome. However, dedication and commitment made them walk forward to make it happen. Overcoming all the challenges, in November 2024 the restaurant soft-launched. That was an opportunity for the team to refine its operations and ensure everything was complete without any flaws. This is how the journey of Sandalwood Express as a food spot began in Vaniamkulam. Today, Sandalwood Express restaurant is one of the best food spots in Vaniamkulam, which is the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire Sandalwood Express family. We are proud that with Sandalwood Express Restaurant, we created a place where everyone can enjoy the most delicious food and carry the best memorable moments.
